“As long as I can remember, I’ve been a foodie.

My mom loves to tell me that as a small child, I would often eat a large dinner and an hour or so later, sit on my dad’s lap and eat half of his, too. She also jokes that I was the only kid who never got ice cream all over her face because I wanted to make sure no drop was wasted!”

I am a holistic health coach and functional / integrative dietitian.

My love of food led me to explore its health benefits, and the more I started to learn, the more interested I became. After becoming certified as a health coach through the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, I decided to pursue my masters in nutrition and become a registered dietitian to further help others on their journey toward health.

As a former journalist, I enjoy the process of communicating and sharing questions and answers with clients around their health concerns. My practice is a blend of lessons I’ve learned along my own path, and focuses on functional and integrative nutrition to dive deep into the root cause of illness and symptoms.

More about me …

When I’m not doing nutrition-y stuff, I’m playing with my puppy, checking out events around town, reading, cooking and experimenting in the kitchen, trying to learn a hobby of the week, walking around my cute neighborhood and spending time with friends.

Cindy keeps me on track, which isn’t always an easy task with me. She always has helpful hints to keep me going and to try new things I never would have done on my own.

Cindy’s expertise, kindness, knowledge, compassion and playfulness as I struggled–not only with food but with an underlying belief that I didn’t even deserve to take up space in the world–was an integral turning point in my healing process.

Kathe B.

I’ve had the good fortune of working with Cindy for well over a year as part of our company wellness program. Her encouragement, support and guidance have helped me to adopt a much healthier lifestyle.
